SVR

The ‘Standard Variable Rate’ (SVR) is the rate that your mortgage switches onto after your introductory rate finishes. The lender sets this rate, which is variable, and usually much higher than the introductory rate. Ladder will always contact you before your introductory rate ends to ensure that you do not switch, unnecessarily, onto the SVR.
